I got this dollhouse back in pieces from my aunt who had packed it up for storage after my childhood.

This is the dollhouse resurrection;

a complicated process that took more than one pair of hands.

I went to the local carpet store and found the pinkest carpet I could find and bought it!

I got home that night and using fabric pattern paper pattern into the floor of the house.

Once I had a pattern on the floor, I was able to trace and cut out the carpet. It fit perfectly!

The carpet is in commemoration of my grandfather, whom carpeted the back of his truck pink for my Barbie play.

I decided to make pajamas for one of my dolls.
